“It was a mistake to educate my daughter and send her to IIT. I should have saved all the money for her dowry.” These were the words of a PhD scholar Manjula’s father who was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her room in Delhi campus on Tuesday evening.
Her father claims that Manjula 28, died because of his son-in-law who was forcing her to bring Rs 20 to 25 lakhs to start a new business.
